Here we are! Very cool trip so far. The walking is a little wearing sometimes (it's good when we remember it's okay to stop and rest), but incredibly rewarding.
Sunset from Ponte di Trinite was gorgeous. That said, Michelangelo's David was stunning in one of those awe-inspiring ways humans don't often experience. (Stacey says "ditto".)
Lunch at Cafe Zà Zà also was good, thought not so nourishing as the Accademia. Still, the pesto was immaculate (and very close to San Lorenzo, so doubly blessed). It's 7:30 p.m. now, and Stacey's hungry. :) Ciao!
