San Gimignano is very nice -- quiet, old, lotsa towers. Once you figure out how to avoid the tourist section on market day, it's really quite relaxing.
We walked the perimeter, visited the highlights, ate well, drank well (the local wine and grappa) and rode the bus back to Siena.
Now we're taking turns updating the blog whilst doing laundry.
Tomorrow we travel to Orvieto. A Reed College student told us about an Etruscan room at the archaeological museum there that sounds very fascinating.
