We are finally in beautiful Sorrento, but alas, the Internet connection is quite slow and I just lost a long posting, so this will be short.
We love our hotel, overlooking the sea. We love the sun, the limoncello and the atmosphere in general in Sorrento (especially after rainy, hectic Rome).
We visited Capri today, and are pleased we chose Sorrento as our homebase.
Tomorrow, we go to Pompeii for some educational sightseeing, but otherwise, the goal of Sorrento is to relax in the sun.
And I am off to the rooftop terrace of the hotel to do just that.
